Years of Experience Matter...
From Coach Roman: There's a big difference between 15 years of experience, and the same experience repeated over and over for 15 years. Over my years, I've worked with all ages from kindergarten through adults, and all levels from beginners through professionals, developing a unique perspective on what is and isn't important in player and team development.
I'm looking to share my experience with coaches who want to take advantage of some of the shortcuts and strategies I offer, and with players who want to improve not only their physical skills, but their ability to make quick, sound decisions on the court.
They say 80% of life is showing up. However, the most important part of that true concept is generally left unsaid. The key is "on time." Learning to read situations, think circumstances through quickly to under what's going on, and anticipate early enough that you can be at the right place at the right time, makes all the difference in the world.
Teams I've coached on have won dozens of tournaments, several regional championships, East Coast Championships, finished in the top 10 teams at Boys Junior Olympics Nationals, qualified for Girls Open Junior Olympics Nationals, and much more.
As a player, I've also won and lost literally hundreds of doubles, triples, quads, and sixes tournaments throughout the country at all different levels over the last 20 years.
Other coaches working with Legion Volleyball have extensive experience working with high school aged and adult players, as well as experience running camps and clinics.
